Our School

North Bend Elementary School (NBES) Located at the base of scenic Mount Si, North Bend Elementary School (NBES) serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school was built in 1962 in the heart of North Bend, and went through a major remodel in 1999. It has 23 classrooms within two main buildings and 15 modular classrooms, a library, multi-purpose room, full-sized gym with climbing wall, and technology lab.

All classrooms are equipped with technology tools that includes: interactive touch TVs, web-based tools, and sets of mobile devices, to engage students in their learning. All K-5 students receive coding instruction. The school emphasizes a positive and supportive learning environment to guide student behavior to: be safe, be respectful and be responsible.

Our District

The Snoqualmie Valley School District (SVSD)  is located about 30 miles east of Seattle in the Cascade Mountain foothills. The district covers more than 400 square miles and serves families in Fall City, North Bend, Snoqualmie, and nearby areas of King County.

SVSD serves about 7,200 students in 11 schools. The district includes six elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school, and one Big Picture high school.

The district also offers several other learning options. These include Meadowbrook Online Courses for students in grades 9-12 and Meadowbrook School for families who choose to educate their students at home. SVSD also offers a Transition Learning Center for students ages 18-21 who receive special education services, along with a fully online program for students in grades K-12. The district also offers preschool services through the SVSD Early Learning Center. 

Students have attended the rebuilt and expanded Mount Si High School campus since 2019. The campus also includes a Performing Arts Center.

Every student in grades 6-12 receives a laptop to use at school and at home through the district's one-to-one technology program. Snoqualmie Valley schools continue to show strong results.
